Package Deliver
A package is delivered at the Package Deliver form. IntelliTrack has two options for package delivery:
- Recipient
- Mail Stop (only available when the Allow delivery to a non-recipient is enabled for the division)
Recipient Delivery
When a package is delivered to a recipient, it is marked as “delivered,” and removed from the list of received packages. A Package Delivered transaction is recorded in application history for this package.
Note: The role of the logged-in user must include the Package Deliver feature in order to reach this form.
Note: A signature is required for recipient delivery.
To deliver a package to a recipient, go to the Deliver Packages form.
- Select a recipient
- Scan the tracking number for the received package
- Capture a recipient signature upon delivery
- Add additional delivery information, such as an employee ID or initials
Follow the steps below to deliver a package.
- Select Home > Packages > Package Deliver.
- If the division allows non-recipient delivery, two options are available: Recipient and Mail Stop.
- In this case, select Recipient to deliver the package to a recipient.
- The Select Recipient form appears.
- Select the package recipient.
- You are returned to the Package Deliver form. This recipient is selected.
- If this recipient has packages, the packages received for this recipient are listed in the form; they are ready for delivery.
- This contains three areas: All, Delivered, Remaining. When it first appears, the All section is to the front.
- All section of the form: All received packages for the recipient are listed.
- Tracking Number field (required): scan or enter package's tracking number into this field. The check mark becomes green to indicate that this package has been scanned for delivery to the recipient. A signature button also appears onscreen.
- The Delivered area of the form displays any scanned packages.
- The Remaining area of the form displays any unscanned packages.
- Signature Capture (required): When you are finished scanning all "received" packages, press the Signature Capture button. The Signature Capture popup form appears.
- In the Signature portion of the popup, capture the recipient signature for the package delivery in the area above the line.
- The Signed By tab option is available when someone other than the intended recipient signs for the package. Tap the Signed By tab (optional), to enter the name or badge information of the package signer.
- Tap OK after the recipient signs for the package receipt. The signature popup closes and the Submit option activates.
- Tap Submit to deliver the scanned package or packages.
- If the recipient has any remaining packages a prompt appears to notify you that this recipient has outstanding packages.
- To continue with this partial delivery, tap Continue. (Click Cancel to cancel this "partial delivery.")
- A message appears to notify you that the transaction was submitted successfully.
- The package or packages that have been scanned in this delivery session are delivered to the recipient and removed from the list of received packages for this recipient.
- The form clears, indicating the package or packages were delivered.
- You are ready to deliver packages to the next recipient.
Editing the Recipient
You may select another recipient.
- In the top right corner of the form, press the More Options button.
- The Edit Recipient option appears. Select it to change the recipient.
- If the form contains any scanned packages, a prompt appears asking you if you want to discard changes.
- To discard any changes, such as a scanned package or signature, tap Yes to clear the form, return to the Select Recipient form, and select another recipient for package delivery.
Mail Stop Delivery
When the default division allows non-recipient delivery, the option to deliver to a mail stop is available at the Deliver Package form.
Important: This option does not capture a recipient signature or signed by information upon package delivery.
Follow the steps below to deliver a package.
- Select Home > Packages > Package Deliver.
- If the division allows non-recipient delivery, two options are available: Recipient and Mail Stop.
- In this case, select Mail Stopto deliver the package to a mail stop.
- The Select Mail Stop form appears.
- Select the mail stop.
- You are returned to the Package Deliver form. This mail stop is selected. If the mail stop has packages, the packages received for this mail stop are listed in the form.
- This contains three areas: All, Delivered, Remaining. When it first appears, the All section is to the front.
- All section of the form: All received packages for the mail stop are listed.
- Tracking Number field (required): scan or enter package's tracking number into this field. The check mark becomes green to indicate that this package has been scanned for delivery to the recipient.
- The Delivered area of the form displays any scanned packages.
- The Remaining area of the form displays any unscanned packages.
- Tap Submit to deliver the scanned package or packages.
- If the mail stop has any remaining packages a prompt appears to notify you that this mail stop has outstanding packages.
- To continue with this partial delivery, tap Continue. (Click Cancel to cancel this "partial delivery.")
- A message appears to notify you that the transaction was submitted successfully.
- The package or packages that have been scanned in this delivery session are delivered to the mail stop and removed from the list of received packages for this mail stop.
- The form clears, indicating the package or packages were delivered.
- You are ready to deliver packages to another mail stop.
Editing the Mail Stop
You may select another mail stop.
- In the top right corner of the form, press the More Options button.
- The Edit Mail Stop option appears. Select it to select another mail stop.
- If the form contains any scanned packages, a prompt appears asking you if you want to discard changes.
- To discard any changes, such as a scanned package, tap Yes to clear the form, return to the Select Recipient form, and select another mail stop for package delivery.
